Then2Now,founded in 1996 by Larry E. Hicks Sr. of Deltona, Florida. Hicks was the front man for a 10 piece Motown powerhouse in Conn. called “Motor City Band”. After moving to Florida in late 1987, Larry had a difficult time meeting other musicians, so he embarked on the karaoke scene. At which time was then able to form the band known today as THEN2NOW band shown above. Since the onset the band has gone through their share of personnel changes, but has always stood behind their philosophy “Entertain everyone to the fullest” The members are as follows; Larry E. Hicks Sr. Vocals, Latin Percussion and Alto Sax. Jamal Gurcay Keyboards, Bass and Vocals. Brian David Drums and Vocals Buddy Kays Saxophones, Percussion and Vocals. Reginald Calhoun Guitar, Bass and Vocals.The Band has played through-out central Florida.Here’s to name a few; Wolfy’s in Sanford, Gina’s in Altamonte, Church Street Station in Orlando, Mel’s in Titusville, Inlet Harbor and Down The Hatch both in Ponce Inlet, along with several Conventions, Weddings and Private Parties. One thing is for sure, once you party with Then2Now, you’re hooked. Then2Now is on a mission! Our mission is to “make sure that each and every person that comes to party with us is entertained to the Fullest”
